In Living a Life That Counts: Part 1, we see that God has given a clear strategy for making an eternal impact—starting in our “Jerusalem” (our families), then moving outward to friends, acquaintances, and ultimately the world. From Ephesians 4–5, he teaches that our marriages and homes are our first mission field, where humility, unity, love, and mutual submission reflect Christ’s love for the church. A marriage lived with respect, sacrifice, and consistency becomes a lighthouse to the world, showing that the gospel works at home first before it can change the world.
