Saying “yes” to God is powerful, but it always comes with a cost. Esther’s story shows us that obedience often brings conflict, surrender of control, and a loss of comfort—but it also positions us for God’s presence, strengthens us in our calling, and satisfies us with true purpose. Just as Esther stepped into her role “for such a time as this,” we are called to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts and trust Him with the outcome of our obedience.
